On Thursday January 28, 2016 at approximately 9:20 p.m. a tractor trailer hauling livestock cattle was travelling southbound on Highway 69 when it crossed the centre line and struck the blade of a northbound plough truck. The tractor trailer then hit a northbound minivan who was following the plough.
This morning at approximately 8:20 a.m. the Greater Sudbury Police Service responded to a collision on the Kingsway.

On the 27th of January 2016, an adult male and another male accomplice utilized a fabricated card –like device at the point of sale terminals at two local businesses in the City of Sudbury.
