On the 12th of January 2015 the Greater Sudbury Police Service responded to a call for service from Out of the Cold Shelter Staff to remove unwanted persons from the shelter.

Greater Sudbury Fire Service responded to a structure fire on Evelyn Street in the Pine Grove Trailer Park in Hanmer shortly after 9pm on January 12th, 2015.
On Monday January 12th shortly after 1:30 am, a resident on Cumberland Crt and another from Beatrice St Sudbury called in s suspicious person observed checking vehicles in the area and skulking through yards.
On Sunday January 11th, at 08:30 pm, police responded to an alarm at a school on Bruyere St, Sudbury. Lights could be seen going on and off.
