A shortage in permanent school bus drivers for the coming school year could mean a few buses will be arriving and leaving late at the start of the school year.
On September 4th at approximately 6pm, 2 hikers with a dog where walking in a wooded trail approximately 20 minutes north of residences off of Birch Hill Rd, which is off Long Lake road, when the dog came into contact with a black bear.
On Monday, September 4, 2017 around 10:30 p.m., Greater Sudbury Police responded to a collision on Paris Street near the Birchglen Apartments involving a cyclist. The motor vehicle involved in the collision fled the scene before Police arrival, however the driver returned a short time later.
With back to school comes talk of homework and that of course leads to the need for internet. For many this is not an issue with internet service taken for granted and relatively inexpensive, but for those that live in rural areas that’s very often not the case and rural internet is often associated with slow, unreliable and frustrating; until now!
