Attempt Robbery at Val Caron gas station

An attempt robbery occurred on Friday August 8th at about 12:30 am at a gas station in Val Caron on Hwy 69. A white male approximately 25 years of age, 6’tall with a medium to large build was wearing a dark brown hooded leather coat, with a balaclava or scarf covering the lower half of his face, light blue faded jeans and brown work boats with a black toe protector.

The suspect was carrying a roofing style hammer with claw and a blue handle. He demanded cash from clerk who could not open register. The suspect walked out of the store northbound on Hwy 69 without the money.

Police attended the area. A canine track was conducted however the suspect was not located.
