This morning at approximately 5:30am a lone male entered the Esso Gas Bar located at 180 LaSalle Boulevard brandishing both a knife and a handgun. The culprit had his identity concealed and he demanded cash, an undisclosed amount of money was surrendered and the male fled on foot. There were no injuries from the incident and the scene has been locked down to continue with the investigation. The culprit is described as approximately six feet tall, dressed in dark clothing which included a ball cap and a hoody. No further information at this time.
