		Greater Sudbury, May 28, 2014 - On Thursday, June 5, at 10:30 a.m., some 1,800 grade 6, 7 and 8 francophone students from some 30 Greater Sudbury, Sudbury East, North Shore, Algoma and other Northern Ontario schools will gather at Bell Park’s Grace Hartman Amphitheatre for the St-Jean Baptiste performance featuring the Franco-Ontarian artist Stef Paquette.

		Students from Sudbury’s Collège Notre-Dame displayed great skill during the recent Franco-Ontarian Chess Tournament in Haileybury from May 8 to 10. 		Some 650 francophone students from 88 French language Catholic and public secondary schools will gather in Hearst from May 16 to 19 to take part in the 21st edition of the Jeux franco-ontariens (Franco-Ontarian Games). Held at École secondaire catholique de Hearst under the theme “Forêt pas manquer ça,” this annual provincial gathering attracts a great deal of attention among students from the Conseil scolaire catholique du Nouvel-Ontario (CSCNO).
