The Greater Sudbury Police Service is pleased to announce the launch of Crime Plot, a new crime mapping tool that will be available for public use. On Friday, May 27th, this tool which is designed to create public awareness on the geographical clusters of specific crime types will be available through the Greater Sudbury Police Service web site (www.gsps.ca).
On Thursday, May 26, 2016 a member of the Greater Sudbury Police Service Traffic Management Unit cited six different motorists for utilizing a hand-held communication device while operating a motor vehicle.

The City of Greater Sudbury, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry (MNRF) and Greater Sudbury Police Service are proud to partner to launch Report-A-Bear, a peer-to-peer online mapping tool for residents to share information about bear sightings within Greater Sudbury.
As part of their religious studies course, grade 5 students in the classes of Mrs. Lynne Robillard and Mrs. Stéphanie Gauvreau at École Alliance St-Joseph in Chelmsford organized a fund raising activity in support of Fort McMurray families.
