As part of an ongoing investigation the Greater Sudbury Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit and Tactical Unit executed a search warrant on a residence in Greater Sudbury on Tuesday, July 6.
Upon entering the residence, Officers arrested four individuals and seized approximately 73 grams of crack cocaine and 23 grams of powdered cocaine totaling $9,755.00. Officers also seized $1,035.00 in Canadian currency and located a loaded, restricted weapon with the serial number filed off.
The four individuals were charged with the following:
Four counts of: Possession of Drugs for the Purpose of Trafficking
One count of: Possession of Drugs
Two counts of: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000
Three counts of: Failure to Comply
Two counts of: Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order
Two counts of: Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
Two counts of: Breach of Firearms Regulation
Two counts of: Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Two counts of: Possession of Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
Two counts of: Possession of a Firearm knowing Serial Number has been Tampered With
