Update - OPP advise that they have re-opened Highway 69S.

(SUDBURY, ON) – Members of the Sudbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) would like to advise motorists that Highway 69, Bigwood Township is closed in both directions due to flooding.

Highway 69 is closed between Highway 64 and Highway 607.

As Highway 607 is quickly deteriorating, only passenger vehicles are allowed to use Highway 607 as a detour.

A detour is available for southbound traffic through Highway 64. Northbound traffic is being detoured through Highway 522 or Highway 124. It is unknown at this time how long the highway will be closed.
