Update - Greater Sudbury Police advise that the odor of gas has dissipated. The area has been cleared by members of Sudbury Fire Services. The source of the smell is not confirmed, however may have been associated to a train travelling through the area.

Original - Members of the Greater Sudbury Police Service are currently in the area of Hanna Street and Dennie Street in Capreol investigating reports of a gas odor.

Sudbury Fires Services is in the area and the natural gas authorities have been notified.
