31 year old arrested for breaking into vehicles

On Saturday November 15 at 5:45 am, a 31 year old Sudbury man was arrested going through cars on Tedman St, Sudbury. He was observed going into vehicles and police were called. On arrival it was learned through investigation that nothing was missing from the vehicles identified but that he had bled on one of the seats of a vehicle causing damage to the seat.

The man was taken to Health Sciences North and treated for a minor cut. He was arrested for 2 counts of Trespass By Night and Mischief. He was in the community on a release for previous charges and as a result will be held for a bail hearing.

Anyone in the Tedman St area who had items stolen from their vehicle last night are asked to call police to lodge a complaint.

People are reminded to use “Universal Precautions” in dealing with blood from an unknown source. Use rubber gloves when cleaning contaminated areas.
