June 14, 2015 1:15pm: The Greater Sudbury Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance throughout the Gaetanne (Gail) Lynds missing person investigation.
Gaetanne Lynds has been located in good health and her blue Dodge Caravan recovered.
There is no criminality suspected in this incident.

June 14th, 2015 9:30am: There are unconfirmed media reports this morning that missing person Gaetanne (Gail) Lynds has been found safe although Greater Sudbury Police have declined comment and stated that they are not ready to release a statement at this time.

June 12th, 2015 2:00pm: The Greater Sudbury Police Service is continuing its investigation and search efforts in relation to Gaetanne (Gail) Lynds and the Blue Dodge Caravan with Ontario Licence BRDX-440.
At this time the police are following up tips from the public and continuing with search efforts in the City with a concentration of resources in the Wanup area.
The police are requesting the assistance from members of the public residing in the Wanup area to check their garages, sheds, yards and fence lines for the van and/or evidence that Gaetanne Lynds was in their area.

June 11th, 2015 1:00pm - The Greater Sudbury Police Service advise that missing person Boyd Lynds (77 yrs.) was located deceased yesterday afternoon.
The Criminal Investigations Division is assisting the Coroner with this coroner’s investigation into the death of Boyd Lynds. Police want the general public to understand they are not at risk as a result of this death.
Gaetanne (Gail) Lynds is still missing. The primary objective in this Missing Persons Investigation is to locate Mrs. Lynds. This investigation is ongoing with numerous resources deployed.
Police are also trying to locate her vehicle.
