During this time, a full road closure will take place from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Young Street, between Larch and Cedar Streets, for filming of a stunt scene.

The Sudbury & District Health Unit (SDHU) reports that a horse in the city of Greater Sudbury has tested positive for West Nile virus (WNv). This is the second reported horse to test positive in the Health Unit’s service area. The first local horse to test positive was reported in August 2004.

As announced in last night’s episode of The Amazing Race Canada, the popular show will feature Greater Sudbury on its program airing Wednesday, August 12. Education Relations Commission that students are in jeopardy of not being able to complete their school year as a result of ongoing strikes.
