A Sudbury man has been arrested in and charged with eight counts of mischief in connection to several graffiti tagging incidents against local businesses between 2014 and 2105.
The DJ Hancock Memorial Park is officially open. Mayor Brian Bigger, members of the Hancock family, and the Splashpad of Champions Committee cut the ribbon to open the park dedicated in the memory of DJ Hancock who died in August 2014.

On the 23rd of July 2016 at approximately 11:00 pm an altercation occurred in the area of Kathleen Street in the city of Greater Sudbury.
On Saturday, July 16, 2016 at approximately 4:00 p.m., a Traffic Management Unit Officer observed a speeding car on Valley View Road in Val Caron. The Officer determined the vehicle to be traveling at 92 km/h in a posted 40 km/h zone.
