The City of Greater Sudbury is pleased to announce the launch of the Species of the Month Postcard Campaign. Postcards featuring a different plant or animal each month will be available at Citizen Service Centres and Libraries throughout 2015.

The City of Greater Sudbury would like to advise residents that the Ramsey Lake Skating Path will open today from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Path will be open on Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 6:00 p.m. Regular Monday to Friday hours will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

In a statement yesterday afternoon Gerry Lougheed claims that he did not offer Olivier a job or appointment when asking him to step aside.
Wynne has issued a statement following the release of recorded conversations in which Olivier alleges the Liberals asked him to step aside in favor of their chosen candidate.
“As I said in my press conference in December, these conversations are the reason I withdrew my nomination as a Liberal candidate. Following that announcement I was encouraged to run as an Independent candidate and my sole focus has been to engage the voters in Sudbury and to convince them that I should be their voice at Queen’s Park.
