(VAL CARON, ON) 2014 at approximately 8:13 p.m. a lone male entered the Pioneer Gas bar located at 3143 regional Road 80 in Val Caron. The male brandished a weapon and demanded money from the clerk. An undisclosed amount of money was provided to the perpetrator who then fled on foot.

In the early morning hours of October 7th, 1993 Constable Joe Macdonald conducted a routine traffic stop on Gordon Street in New Sudbury. The driver was Peter Pennett. The passenger in the vehicle was Clinton Suzack, who at the time was wanted for a parole violation.

Greater Sudbury Police have identified of the victim of the Train / Pedestrian collision that occurred on Saturday, Oct. 4th. The 63-yr old male was residing in the Greater Sudbury area but was not originally from the city. Attempts are being made to locate and notify family members therefore the victim`s name will not be released.
